Lin Wei was the last heir to a family of metaphysical practitioners, but a family curse and a modern society that had forgotten their traditions left her dirt poor.
With no choice but to earn a living, she joined the livestreaming boom and launched a channel for “scientific fortune-telling and rational ghost-hunting.”
To her surprise, her very first stream connected her to the scene of a crime in progress!
Thanks to her family's “Void-Piercing Mystic Soul Eyes” and her uncanny skill at divination, her livestream quickly took a bizarre turn:
“Streamer, when will I find a partner?” a girl on the other side of the screen asked.
Lin Wei: “Your boyfriend is a woman, and she's your long-lost younger sister.”
“Streamer, my wife keeps saying there's someone under the bed...” A middle-aged man looked haggard.
Lin Wei: “Your wife isn't the problem. The ‘her’ you buried underground three years ago has come back.”
“Master, is there a discount on the house I just bought?” viewers joked.
Lin Wei: “A haunted house at thirty percent off, with a hundred-year-old ghost thrown in. Buy one, get ten free, ghosts included. Order now while you still can.”
She catches water ghosts, solves cold cases, slays demons, and battles evil cultivators...
From online to offline, from the world of the living to the underworld.
Her livestream becomes the most powerful agency in the Three Realms. Real demons and monsters start showing up in the comments, and ghost money appears on her tip list.
A special department comes knocking, a thousand-year-old Ghost King becomes her top supporter, and the underworld even sends her an invitation to intern online?
Watch Lin Wei use the trendiest methods to practice the oldest profession, reading the secrets of fate on camera, catching criminals and hunting ghosts, as she gradually uncovers the mystery of the thousand-year-old curse hanging over her family!
