The Nine Provinces Immortal Vein Record is the sequel to Kunlun Artifact-Refining Guide. Picking up after the previous story’s conclusion, “Chaos sealed anew, the Nine Provinces at peace for now,” it centers on the protection of the immortal veins and launches a new adventure with the fate of the Nine Provinces at stake.
Three years after the Chaos seal was reforged, the protagonist, Baili Xi, discovers strange cracks appearing in the Yin-Yang Jade. The light trail of the northern Xuanwu constellation has shifted, while the Blackstone Clan’s Earth-Calming Stone has been stolen and malevolent energy is leaking out from underground. These signs confirm Fuyu’s warning from the previous story: “The immortal veins of the Nine Provinces are connected. If one vein is severed, Chaos will arise.” To stop the crisis from spreading, Canglang, who carries the power inherited from Fuyu, sets out with the Nine Provinces Immortal Vein Map to repair the five elemental immortal veins: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
