In 2026, Li Yang, an 18-year-old from the countryside, follows in the footsteps of his father, a retired soldier, and resolutely enlists in the military. On the green train bound for the recruitment center, he unexpectedly activates the Strongest Soldier King System through a jade pendant passed down by his mother. From then on, guided by the System and driven by his own relentless effort, he stands out from the recruits, passes selection for a reconnaissance company, survives the brutal elimination process of the special forces unit Dragon Flame, and ultimately becomes a proud member of the special forces.
His path takes him across all eight theater commands, and he appears in counterterrorism operations, border disputes, international military competitions, overseas evacuations, cyber warfare, space security, and many other fields. He and his comrades sweat, bleed, and shed tears together as they grow. Codenamed Blazing Sun, he gradually becomes a guardian whose name strikes fear into the enemy, living by the ironclad vow: "Those who offend China, no matter how far away, will be punished." Meanwhile, the story tenderly portrays the quiet support and concern of Li Yang's parents and grandparents, as well as the warmth of his growing relationship with the heroine, Lin Xue. This is an epic of personal growth, and a heroic anthem dedicated to all Chinese soldiers who serve their country.
