Harry Potter: Is James Still Taking the Blame Today?

(I'm revising the story. Once I'm done, I'll replace the earlier chapters too, though I hope they might still be readable as they are.)

A newbie's self-indulgent work, with the Marauders' generation interwoven with a Harry Potter legacy System (which has barely appeared so far).

The OOC is mine; the glory belongs to J.K. Rowling. Thank you for bringing the magical world of our childhoods to us.

Here's to our hard-won victory, though I'm going to wrap it all up in dumplings.

A heads-up about things to watch out for: If you don't like Snape, stop asking me to include him. James and Lily won't end up together, and neither will Remus and Tonks. My heroine is adored by everyone and irresistible, so why would I keep those pairings? I'll try to write an alternate-universe storyline (if I can actually stick with it, that is. *rubs forehead and smiles wryly* For now, whenever I get stuck, I switch to an alternate universe).

When James Potter was two, Fleamont and Euphemia thought they'd have to spend the rest of their lives with only their little troublemaker, James. Then they welcomed another child: a little princess, Eliora Potter (Eliora means light, hope, and new beginnings).

Poor James thought he would become a heroic knight who protected his little sister, but instead he turned into the hapless servant who has to clean up her messes every day.

Including, but not limited to, taking the blame, taking the blame, and taking the blame again.

But when he sees his sister's radiant smile after she teases him, James thinks, Well, my little sister really is just too adorable. What could she possibly have done wrong!!! Maybe I'm the one being unreasonable.
