I am Hatake Rin, the coldest killing tool in Konoha's Root, codenamed “Blue Oni.” I was on duty on the night of the clan massacre when a ridiculously filial son got in my way, and then I transmigrated to modern Japan.
I barely had time to feel confused before, haha! That damn curse mark actually stopped working after I transmigrated.
Maybe I'd been holding it in too long? I discovered that my urge to make sarcastic comments was growing faster than ever. My top priority was finding food and making a living. If stealing was off the table, what was I supposed to do?
What? You want me to teach kendo? I suppose that could work!
What? You want me to act? Hmm! What could make better use of my “professional skills” than playing a specialist role?
And so, a bizarre scene unfolded on set. The director shouted himself hoarse: “I need bloodlust! The kind that treats human life as worthless!” Rin, expressionless: “Oh.” (Thinking: Do I really need to act? Isn't just standing here enough?) The fight choreographer demonstrated a flashy sword move. Rin bluntly remarked, “All show and no substance. Full of openings. The enemy would die laughing.” Then he casually swung his sword. The move was plain and simple, yet it made everyone's hair stand on end.
From kendo instructor to rising star of sword-fighting films, Hatake Rin shot to fame through his hard-core “playing himself.” On the surface, he's a dedicated, taciturn, aloof actor. Behind the scenes, he's a scheming former ninja who treats the workplace as a new mission and his collaborators as subjects of observation. While secretly gathering intelligence, he cheerfully decides that since he can't go back, he might as well leave behind Root's legacy in another way in this almost unnaturally peaceful world. Only this time, he's not teaching assassination. He's teaching how to use genuine bloodlust to dominate a performance.
It's quite interesting, but I don't know what I will write about later. I feel like I can write about how he transformed the ninja world after returning to it 🍉
Quite interesting.
I thought the main character was just a ninja, but it turned out there were other supernatural beings. I was speechless.
