As the only setting where the same person is double-crossed, the setting is okay. The main plot revolves around the theme of eliminating the resentment of Silly Pillar. In retaliation for the people in the courtyard, he compensated those who were owed by Sha Zhu one by one, and took back those who had plotted against Sha Zhu one by one. This restores a completely opposite life of Shazhu, being kind to those who owe him a debt, being evil to those who owe him a debt, repaying injustice and taking revenge. Combined with some major events that occurred in each era, the plot and ups and downs of the book have been enriched. Strictly speaking, Silly Zhu in this book is neither a good person nor a bad person. All in all, there are some parts that are refreshing and some that are touching. It does not change the direction of history, nor does it change the occurrence of major events. There will be reasonable multiple female protagonists, and there will be a reasonable explanation for the two of them sharing the same body. It's worth a read for book fans who like Siheyuan, and also worth a read for fans of period dramas. The changes to the original drama will be relatively large. The screenwriter of the original drama has many such old Beijing period dramas. I have watched a lot. To be honest, I really can't stand it when I watch it now. In the original screenwriter's writing, the protagonist is always a good old man, and he will get himself into a lot of trouble if he does a good deed. This is really hard for Teacher He Bing! Hope you all like this book. Lots of advice.
At present, it seems that the plot setting is relatively reasonable, and it also combines some settings in the original drama. In addition, the author has laid some foreshadowings. Looking forward to the follow-up, it is worth pursuing. When I first started reading this novel, the front part felt boring, but the further I read, the more attractive the plot became. I hope the author doesn't want eunuchs!
