The Yogurt Empress: My Consort Always Wants to Open a Shop

While staying up late to work on her thesis, senior student Su Qingyuan unexpectedly transmigrated into the imperial palace of the Great Sheng Dynasty as a junior cook.

Armed with a bottle of yogurt she had brought with her and the food science knowledge she gained at university, she recreated yogurt and invented treats such as Dew-Drop Frost Cakes, unexpectedly winning the affection of Emperor Xiao Jingyuan.

Su Qingyuan gradually rose from kitchen maid to higher ranks, but became caught up in palace intrigues and struggled at every turn. In the end, she helped Xiao Jingyuan curb the Empress Dowager’s power and take control of the government himself.

Su Qingyuan not only made yogurt a bestseller throughout Great Sheng, but also grew from a transmigrated kitchen maid into the empress, the sole recipient of Xiao Jingyuan’s devotion. She fulfilled her dream of opening a shop and found happiness that transcended time and space.
