From the Start, I Have to Assassinate Dong Zhuo with Cao Cao

In the twenty-fifth year of Jian’an (220 CE), Wang Ming fakes his death and withdraws from the center of power in Wei. Three months before Cao Cao dies of illness, he resigns and retires from public life. Drawing on years of secret planning, he leads a team of craftsmen he has trained in secret to distant Liuqiu (Taiwan), where he establishes Mingyi City as a hub of maritime trade. In his later years, he writes Records of Survival in a Chaotic Age, transforming modern knowledge into the Twelve Heavenly Strategies, ideas suited to the understanding of the Eastern Han, and hides the manuscript in a secret place in the Wuyi Mountains. He dies peacefully of natural causes in the year Sun Quan proclaims himself emperor (229), burning all evidence of his transmigration before his death. His tombstone bears only the inscription: “Tomb of Lord Wang Shouyi, Former Han General Who Conquered the East.”
