This Hehuan Sect Disciple Is Far Too Proper

A Xuan transmigrates into the Hehuan Sect, only to become an “odd one out.” While his fellow disciples lose themselves in dual cultivation, he chooses to “win people over with virtue.”

When faced with a peerless senior sister, he spends the night discussing the Dao, playing chess, and sipping tea. When he encounters an alluring demoness, he hands her a book on philosophy and urges her to do good. During the sect tournament, while the others wield peerless charms, he recites a spell to clear the mind and wins without fighting through “mental pollution.” In the war between immortals and demons, all beings sink into a sea of desire, while his “upright Daoist heart” becomes the light of salvation.

A Xuan's path to immortality is simple: refuse dual cultivation, and you grow stronger. He only wanted to cultivate in peace, but the eyes of the immortal maidens grew more and more ardent. When he is forced to become the most “proper” Holy Son in the Hehuan Sect's history and reaches the Great Dao through sheer verbal persuasion, the entire cultivation world's worldview is shattered.
