Gray River Town, a town forgotten by time. Throughout the ages, people have mysteriously disappeared at night, and no one dared to go out after midnight. Five characters from different backgrounds step into the small town for various reasons, uncovering the layered truth of human despair and horror behind the collapsed reality. In multiple parallel and gradually intertwined clues, the protagonists continue to face their own fears, and at the same time their destiny is controlled by the mysterious villain "Shadow". The town's 'living experiments', misplaced time and space, crazy folklore, disappearing children and reincarnation of ghosts, everyone must face the shadow deep in their hearts in order to survive the malice and darkness. In the end, all the story lines converged in the final explosion, everyone made a fateful decision, and the town also ushered in an irreversible ending.
