The protagonist Han Xing (pseudonym Ye Ming) was reborn in the Northern Song Dynasty and almost starved to death. He happened to be rescued by Su Shi, who was demoted due to the Wutai Poetry Case. Han Xing, who knew that Su Shi was in trouble, followed Su Shi to his post in order to repay his kindness, but he was involved intentionally or unintentionally. In the struggle between the old and new parties, in order to survive, the helpless Han Xing had no choice but to fight back, but was regarded as a "traitor" by the scholar-bureaucrat group. The unbearable Han Xing embarked on a "dragon-slaying" feat, overthrowing the Song Dynasty in one fell swoop and restoring the glory of the Han and Tang Dynasties.
