Reborn as the Legitimate Princess: My Brooding Consort Is the Apple of My Eye

As the poisoned wine slid down her throat, Zhao Lingxi watched her half-sister, Zhao Yurou, clinging to her fiancé and laughing with smug delight. “Sister, your place as the legitimate princess and your prince consort are both mine now!” In her final moments, the only one who stood in front of her was Shen Jinghan, the ailing prince consort she had scorned for three years. His white robes were stained with blood. “Lingxi, don't be afraid...”

When she opened her eyes again, she was back on the eve of her fifteenth birthday ceremony. This time, she tore into her scheming half-sister and kicked her scumbag fiancé to the curb, then threw herself into Shen Jinghan's arms and cooed, “My prince consort, from now on, I'll protect you!”

Shen Jinghan coughed up blood, but a glint flashed in his eyes. “All right, my princess.”

At first, everyone laughed at her: the legitimate princess had a choice of accomplished generals, yet she insisted on clinging to her sickly prince consort!

But later, when they saw that “sickly man” crush an assassin's throat with one hand, then turn and smile at his princess with tender affection, they were speechless...

They had to admit, he was irresistible!

One night, Zhao Lingxi ran her hand over Shen Jinghan's firm waist and abdomen and asked in confusion, “Is your illness... an act?”

Shen Jinghan pinned her to the bed, his voice low and dangerous. “If it makes the princess worry about me, I don't mind keeping up the act for the rest of my life.”
