"We all know we have carrier strike groups patrolling the world's oceans. We have the Dongfeng Express, delivering on every mission."
"But I want to ask: where is our 'cultural aircraft carrier'?"
"And what is our 'spiritual Dongfeng'?"
"What kind of garbage have we been putting out through our cultural channels all these years?"
"For years, ever since I was old enough to remember, Western movies, music, games, and values have flooded into our lives like quicksilver. Nothing has stopped them. They've seeped into every corner!"
"Our children watch Hollywood superheroes save the Earth time and time again, as if they're the only heroes in the world."
"They wear clothes printed with foreign celebrities and logos, thinking that's trendy. They celebrate Western holidays with more enthusiasm than our own Spring Festival!"
"They know Iron Man and Captain America, but ask them who Qiu Shaoyun or Huang Jiguang are, and many of them just stare blankly!"
"And what is happening to our own heroes and our own culture? They're being forgotten! Torn apart!"
"Some so-called 'public intellectuals' and 'influencers' even smear them from every possible angle until they're deemed worthless!"
"Those of us born in the eighties and nineties grew up watching all this! We watched our position in the battle for public opinion fall inch by inch! I've been burning with anger inside!"
"Our predecessors won the military battles, so we're safe now!"
"We're close to winning the economic battle too. Everyone's life is getting better and better..."
A great book, a masterpiece, it made me cry and my blood boiled.
