Amid a garden awash in blood, her young son lay dead with his neck broken, and her loved ones had been slaughtered. Chu Yiyi's husband, Li Chen'an, and her second senior brother, Xiao Yi, stabbed her through the chest together. As she hovered on the brink of death, she swore a terrible oath: if she got another life, she would make those two beasts pay in blood!
When she opened her eyes again, she had returned to the age of seventeen, once more the useless good-for-nothing daughter of the alliance leader who chased after her eldest senior brother. In public, she remained sweet and naive. In private, she secretly studied medicine and poison under her father's tutelage, her eyes already glinting with ice.
Her cold and stern eldest senior brother, Li Chen'an, was still putting on an act, using hatred to hide his true feelings. He had no idea he hated the wrong person. Her roguishly handsome second senior brother, Xiao Yi, concealed his identity as the crown prince and coveted both the alliance leadership and her beauty.
This time, Chu Yiyi would no longer be a pawn for others to trample at will. He poisons her? She hits back with a strange poison that leaves him unable to practice martial arts for the rest of his life. He ruins her reputation? She sets a trap that humiliates him. He plots to usurp power? She drives the emperor and empress apart and uses them to destroy him!
The scumbag who put her through hell now begs her to forgive him? Get lost! The hypocritical crown prince wants to keep her as his consort? Die! Only her quietly devoted third senior brother, Yehe, arrives with an army. With poison as her blade, Chu Yiyi protects her family and torments her enemies. Watch as the good-for-nothing heiress makes a stunning comeback and becomes a poison-wielding physician queen who commands the fate of the realm!
