Cultivating Immortality in Marvel

While Marvel’s heroes still relied on technology, mutations, and magic, I had already quietly established my foundation, treating the entire universe as my alchemy furnace.

During the Battle of New York, the Chitauri Army swept through like locusts as a massive rift tore open the sky. Iron Man was nearly out of ammunition, Captain America’s shield was covered in cracks, and even Thor’s roar carried a hint of despair.

Just then, a Chinese youth in ordinary athletic clothes slowly walked to the center of the battlefield. As Loki sneered, “Pathetic vermin,” he simply raised a hand, calm and unruffled.

“Formation, rise.”

At his soft words, the five elements’ spiritual energy throughout Manhattan was instantly drained, transforming into a golden sword beam that stretched from heaven to earth. Wherever it passed, the Chitauri leviathans vanished like paper cutouts, and the rift was forcibly erased, as if it had never existed.

Dead silence fell over the battlefield.

Tony Stark’s faceplate popped open. “JARVIS, analyze his energy readings...”

“Sir, analysis is impossible. His energy readings... exceed those of the Infinity Stones.”
