Detective Conan: The Occult Detective

After raising a five-star red flag atop Mount Fuji, Lin Xuan took a wrong step and ended up in... the world of Conan!

Reborn as a Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department elite who graduated from Tokyo University, he starts out as an assistant inspector with a brilliant future ahead of him. But Lin Xuan is a little worried: does Beika Town really have an abnormally high murder rate? Fortunately, the fortune-telling and face-reading skills he learned in his previous life came along with him.

While Shinichi Kudo is still poring over the evidence, Lin Xuan studies the culprit’s face and says in a low voice, “Your marriage palace is clouded, and your eyes are tinged with the aura of bloodshed. You’re troubled by love and have turned to murder, haven’t you?”

When Rei Furuya secretly investigates him, Lin Xuan offers him a cup of tea. “Stop investigating. Your forehead is shining today, which bodes well for making friends and poorly for suspicion.”

When Gin points his gun at him, Lin Xuan whips out a long spear. “Come on, let me divine your bloody misfortune!”

Solve cases? I predict them with metaphysics! Fight organized crime? I use magic to track them down! Build Japan’s “Skynet”? Of course we’ll use our motherland’s technology!

This is the hot-blooded (and hilarious) story of a mystical fortune-telling inspector from the East, who combines metaphysics and science in the world of Conan, teases the elementary school student who brings death wherever he goes, takes on the Black Organization and corrupt forces, and spreads the spirit of the red flag along the way!
