Synopsis of the story of "The Overlord's Chef"
Lin Xiaochu, the chef of a modern five-star hotel, accidentally traveled to the end of Qin Dynasty in the kitchen and was sacrificed to Xiang Yu as a spy by Chu camp soldiers. He relied on compressed biscuits to temporarily avoid the crisis, and improved Chu camp's food with "wild vegetable and corn soup", becoming Xiang Yu's personal chef.
Since then, he has solved many problems with modern cooking skills: simmering bronze cauldrons to create "Ding Xiang Barbeque", making "hawthorn preserves" for Yu Ji to win allies, using "mountains of corn" to deceive Liu Bang's envoys, and finding wild peppercorns to replace exhausted seasonings. At the same time, he discovered that the broken mobile phone he carried during time travel would glow with "metal + energy", and he secretly searched for clues to return home.
As Chu and Han fought, Chef Lin got involved in events such as the Hongmen Banquet and the Battle of Pengcheng, using his cooking skills to help the Chu army and reassure them. At the end of the Chu camp, he witnessed Yu Ji committing suicide and escaped with Xiang Yu's sword on the Wujiang River. Later, with the help of Han Xin, he found the Bronze Temple of Chu and successfully teleported back to modern times with the help of the Tongtian Cauldron.
After returning, Chef Lin launched the "Chu Overlord Theme Menu" to preserve the taste of the late Qin Dynasty. One day, he received a strange text message "Cook, is the rice delicious?", And the warmth of the two eras was connected.

What a great book. A modern five-star chef traveled through the late Qin Dynasty and conquered Xiang Yu with "Wild Vegetable and Corn Soup". He stewed "Ding Xiang Barbecue" in a bronze cauldron to resolve the crisis. Food and historical events are skillfully integrated, creating a pyrotechnic and epic feel.
Time travel, food, and history are perfectly integrated. See how Chef Lin used a spoon to influence the Chu-Han War!
Rewrite history with food? See how a five-star chef used his cooking skills to calm the troops on the battlefield in the late Qin Dynasty!
A five-star chef travels back in time to become a spy and conquers the King of Chu with his cooking skills, a time-traveling food with imaginative ideas!
The more I read, the better it looks. The writing is smooth and the food descriptions are alluring, as if I could smell the aroma of the bronze tripod.
I really like this novel. The protagonist is smart and witty, and uses cooking skills to survive in troubled times. The character is very good.
Modern cooking skills VS ancient bronze tripod, Lin Xiaochu uses delicious food to play with the Chu-Han struggle for hegemony, perfect score for creativity!
From wild vegetable soup to Dingxiang barbecue, the little chef's counterattack in Chuying is so delicious!
What an interesting novel. It combines history and food. It is both informative and interesting. I recommend it!
It's been a long time since I've seen such a wonderful novel. I'd like to support it with five stars.
