Jiang Che is a new recruit of the Interstellar Guard, responsible for guarding resource mines on remote planets. One day, alien creatures suddenly appeared in the mine. They can eat metal and evolve. During the confrontation, Jiang Che discovered that these creatures were actually "cleaning tools" left behind by ancient alien civilizations.
