In the near future, a technology called "memory echo" can extract fragmented sensory information of the past from material residues. "Echo Master" Lin Chen, a lonely seeker immersed in the remains of other people's memories, has been searching for traces of his sister Lin Xi who mysteriously disappeared seven years ago. During a routine mission, he was commissioned to investigate the unexpected death of a top scientist, but in the last echoes of the deceased, he captured a nursery rhyme melody that did not belong at the scene and was known only to him and his sister. This ghostly clue dragged Lin Chen into a huge conspiracy constructed by technology giants, memory tampering and the abyss of human nature. In order to reach the truth, he must sneak into the most dangerous forbidden area of memory and face the silent echo that may swallow his mind.
