Hello everyone, I'm the author of this book.
The story of Dragonkin's Jade Book: The Emperor's Pact is Born Anew grew out of my fascination with ancient fantasy worlds, and my reflections on the question of fate and choice. Yun Lishu is like ice and crystal, and like a cold plum blossom bristling with thorns. She bears the noble bloodline of the dragon clan, yet struggles against a cruel fate. From her naive beginnings on Kunlun's sacred mountain to the whirlpool of political intrigue, every choice she makes tears her apart and remakes her. Should she seek the safety of a quiet life, or bear the fate of her people?
Ao Yue and Zhu Qiu, one a brother bound to her by blood, the other a guide who is both teacher and friend, make Yun Lishu's choices all the more fraught. The Dragon Palace's corruption, the bonds of family, the flames of revenge... These elements intertwine to create an unpredictable journey of cultivation and political intrigue.
Through Yun Lishu's story, I hope to show how a woman can break through impossible odds with cunning and take up her sword with courage, saving her people while also redeeming herself. In the chapters to come, she will venture into the heart of power and contend with ruthless opponents. Her pact with the emperor of the human realm will also gradually unfold. How will their fates become entangled? What future awaits the Yunli clan?
Thank you so much for opening this book. I look forward to joining you in this fantastical world to witness Yun Lishu's growth, and a legend of dragons, political intrigue, and redemption.
