Only as she lost consciousness did she learn that the world she lived in was actually a novel, and her sole purpose in it had been to take the hit for the heroine.
Zuo Xining thought she was finally free, but when she regained consciousness, she had become a baby who couldn't speak.
Once she understood what had happened, she was overjoyed. Her new family was pretty well-off, and starting over wasn't so bad. This time, she was going to be a lazy freeloader who ate her fill and waited around to die. Haha!
When Zuo Xining was fourteen, her grandfather retired and planned to return to the family home with her grandmother for a visit. Having never left the capital since birth, Zuo Xining didn't want to spend her whole life cooped up there, so she secretly slipped out of the mansion to catch up with them.
She never expected that the world would descend into chaos from then on. By the time the family reunited, several years had passed.

It looks good, but I really feel sorry for the heroine. She has been running around, and she has to support her in big and small things 😢. I hope she will grow stronger in the future, fight back, and take back everything that belongs to the heroine.
