Shen Youchu (leaning on Jiang Yu's desk, gazing at her eagerly): “A-Yu, want to go to that new dessert shop after school? I heard their strawberry daifuku is soooo good!”
Jiang Yu (her pen never stopping, her voice cool): “It's crowded and noisy.”
Shen Youchu (gently tugging at her arm): “Come on, come on! My treat! You just sit there and look pretty. I promise we'll be quick!”
Jiang Yu (glancing up at her): “Have you corrected the last problem on your physics test?”
Shen Youchu (with little confidence but plenty of conviction): “Not yet... But compared to eating strawberry daifuku with you, what's electromagnetic induction anyway!”
Jiang Yu (closing her workbook and sighing silently): “Half an hour.”
Shen Youchu (instantly beaming): (Success!) Yay! I got A-Yu to come with me again! When will she realize that what I want isn't dessert at all, but every stretch of the walk home at your side?
Every word I chatter is a circle drawn around you at its center. The whole world knows you're the center of my world. Only you, you blockhead, still think this is just a habit of always being together.
