The Star Emperor’s Everyday Life as a Dad 1

After roaming the universe for eight thousand years, commanding the stars and ruling supreme through the ages, the Star Emperor Su Chen was struck down by the divine lightning of the Nine Heavens while attempting to reach the pinnacle of immortality. A trace of inner demon had invaded him, and his soul was scattered. Yet he had not truly perished. When he opened his eyes again, he had returned to his old home from eight thousand years ago: the Blue Star. Back then, he was still a worthless drunk and gambler, abandoned by everyone. His wife had lost all hope because of him, and his daughter was afraid of him. A disaster that should have destroyed his family was about to strike. “In my past life, I devoted myself to the Great Dao and let you and our daughter down. I made a mistake I’ll regret for the rest of my life, and it became my eternal inner demon.” “In this life, the stars return to their places, and all powers are at my command. I, Su Chen, seek neither eternal life nor the path to immortality. I only want to give you both a safe place in this world.” As the former Emperor of the Universe put away his boundless divine radiance and clumsily learned to tie his daughter’s hair and cook delicious meals for his wife... The entire world would tremble at the awakening of this full-time dad, Su Chen.
