In Chongqing in 1941, nurse Lin Yue was an underground party traffic officer and was ordered to take over the military special agent Shen Ze. Shen Ze originally came to investigate the underground party, but when he cooperated with Lin Yue to destroy the Japanese bombing plan, he was moved by her bravery. The two put aside their differences and jointly protected the people of Chongqing. Shen Ze also secretly assisted the underground party in passing information.
