Who Put the Dragon Robe on Me?

The dragon robe is on my back, and all I can say is: who did this?!

I wake up to find I’ve become a puppet emperor on an Eastern fantasy continent.

The civil officials on the court, all spouting benevolence and righteousness, are Nascent Soul experts, while the generals can shatter stars with a single punch.

As for me, I can barely draw qi into my body.

I was hoping to keep my head down and stay alive, but the next day, an enemy army reaches the city gates, and the whole court is scared stiff.

So I quietly pull out the Analects of Warlust the System just gave me and gently ask, “When a friend comes from afar...”

The civil and military officials are delighted: “His Majesty means to win them over with virtue?”

I shake my head and finish the sentence: “...no matter how far away, they must be slain!”

In an instant, the Analects of Warlust turns into a blood-red spear. Inspiration strikes, and I hurl it:

one million enemy soldiers vanish into dust!

The court falls silent. I look around at my ministers and earnestly ask:

“Now, can someone tell me who put this dragon robe on me yesterday?”
