Beneath the shadows of the modern city, psychologist Li Wei is haunted by strange hallucinations: a pair of extra eyes appears in his reflection, and anonymous text messages demand, “Who are you?” While investigating a patient’s suicide, he discovers an altar to an ancient god beneath the city and uncovers the truth about the “Shadow Realm”: the ancient god “Nameless Shadow” controls reality through dreams, and humanity’s mental stability is on the brink of collapse. Li Wei’s memories have been altered, and he gradually begins to suspect that he is a projection of the ancient god. Joining forces with the hunter Aila and Professor Kane, he battles shadow beasts and explores deep-sea ruins. As his mental stability crisis worsens, memories turn inside out: allies betray him, and his self fractures. In the end, Li Wei faces the ancient god itself and must choose between “existence” and “nothingness” in a collapsing dream.
