Lily, an apprentice at the magic academy, accidentally awakens the ancient beast Seren (which can take human form), and Seren calls Lily the prophesied savior. The Magic Council regards the mythical beast as a threat and wants to seal it. In order to protect Seren, Lily embarks on a journey to find the truth of the prophecy. Along the way, Lily's magic improves, and Seren gradually falls in love, and the two join forces to fight against the Parliament.
