Xu Ningxiang is a girl from a mountain village, while Zhou Xingyi is a boy who lives in the city.

One day, their souls switch. The boy ends up in the girl's home, living with her family, who believe in solving everything through brute force. The girl goes to the boy's home, where she lives with his gentle, attentive family. How will a boy who's never been to a mountain village deal with a family that favors violence and refuses to let things go? How will a girl who's never experienced city life cope with its orderly yet complicated routines? Xu Ningxiang doesn't know, and neither does Zhou Xingyi. They simply go with the flow, stumbling and struggling through ten years of life together.
