Immortal Lord, Please Have Some Mushrooms

Fang Cheng transmigrated with a mission: to help the ancient immortal lord Fu Hua complete the Heavenly Dao. But she couldn't shake her poor-student nature, and her cultivation progressed slowly. The Heavenly Dao "returned" her, replacing her with the newly chosen Daughter of Destiny. After being gravely injured and losing her memories, she regressed into a harmless little mushroom. By a twist of fate, the impoverished Qingxu Sect took her for a "humble gift" and presented her to the very immortal lord Fu Hua she was supposed to assist, who was rumored to have a terrible temper.

And so, a potted landscape appeared on the immortal lord's desk. Everyone thought it was a joke, including her former self. Until one day, she heard the immortal lord murmur to her: "...Perhaps the Heavenly Dao chose the wrong person from the very beginning. Mending Heaven shouldn't mean patching things up. It should require a complete 'rebirth.'"

Placed beside the immortal lord and having overheard countless secrets of the immortal realm, she trembled and clutched her tiny mushroom cap tight. Could she still play dead and get away with it?
