Core Premise:
Cause of the apocalypse: A tide of energy from an unknown universe, tentatively named “Origin Energy,” sweeps across Earth. Over 70% of the global population instantly turn into bloodthirsty zombies, while some plants and animals undergo terrifying mutations and become powerful “mutant beasts.” Earth’s environment changes drastically, and civilization collapses.
Power System:
Zombies and mutant beasts: They range from low to high levels, such as Ordinary Zombie → Sprinter → Brute → Tank → Hunter → Lord-level → King-level… High-level zombies and mutant beasts develop “energy cores” within their bodies.
Human Awakened: Some humans awaken amid the disaster, becoming “evolvers” or “ability users.”
Evolvers: Their physical attributes are enhanced across the board, with a focus on close-quarters combat.
Ability users: They awaken special abilities related to metal, wood, water, fire, earth, wind, lightning, ice, light, darkness, the mind, and other forces.
Rank system: First to ninth rank, with each rank divided into early, middle, late, and peak stages. Beyond the ninth rank lies the legendary “Divine Rank.”
Golden finger, exclusive to the protagonist:
During the early days of the disaster, protagonist Lin Tian accidentally cuts his right hand on a mysterious meteorite fragment, granting it the ability of “Infinite Evolution.”
Core abilities:
Devour: His right hand can directly devour the energy of zombies, mutant beasts, and even other Awakened, including energy cores, life essence, and ability cores, converting it for his own use. This rapidly boosts his strength without side effects.
Analysis and Simulation: After devouring a target, he has a chance to analyze its genes or energy structure and simulate its skills or traits
