Apocalypse Black Lotus: The System Forces Me to Farm Merit

[Apocalypse + Black Lotus + Merit System + Hilarious Anti-Hustle]

Gu Zhaolin is reborn in the apocalypse, and from the start, her scumbag boyfriend and his shameless lover push her toward the zombies as bait.

She grins viciously and draws her blade, ready to perform the classic Black Lotus revenge routine

[Ding! Host's murderous intent exceeds the limit! The "Merit and Virtue System" has forcibly bound itself to you!]

[Warning: Killing a "potential good person" will drain all your merit and immediately erase you!]

Gu Zhaolin: "???"

Looking at her quivering enemies, she forces herself to put away her cleaver and squeeze out a twisted, kindly smile:

"Don't be afraid. I'll... take you to find supplies." (Merit +1)

From then on, the apocalypse takes a dramatic turn.

While others kill and loot, she is forced to go around saving lives and healing the wounded. While others fight for territory, she is forced to organize production and build infrastructure.

Her enemies kneel and thank her for repaying evil with kindness, while her rivals are moved by her selflessness.

Spitting blood as she goes, Gu Zhaolin racks up merit like crazy, until she has turned herself into the apocalypse's one and only saint.

Then one day, the System shop unlocks its ultimate weapon: [Limitless Merit: Planet-Buster Cannon].

The Apocalypse King, who once drove her to the brink, looks at her in horror. "Y-You aren't supposed to be a saint!"

Gu Zhaolin hoists the cannon and smiles with nuclear warmth. "My friend, have you ever heard of salvation by physics?"
