I’m Xu Zhiwan, a video content moderator. One day, while browsing livestreams, I saw my own bedroom on screen. The stream was titled “Visiting 100 Girls’ Homes Challenge: Number 17,” and when the camera turned around, the streamer was Cheng Mobai, the guy I’d had a crush on for three months. I didn’t ban his stream right away. I wanted to see what else he’d do. Cheng Mobai rummaged through my closet, made fun of me, and even insulted Egg Tart’s urn. Then he opened it and found a dog tag inside with his own name engraved on it. Using an alternate account, I led him to the hidden room in my bedroom. It was filled with candid photos of him, a map marked with his movements, and a copy of Gray’s Anatomy. Cheng Mobai completely panicked. I pretended to ask him out to dinner and gave him a set of keys that included the key to the hidden room, then lied and said I was going on a business trip. Just as I expected, Cheng Mobai broke in again. When he opened the second hidden room, I trapped him inside. The “human limbs” in the room were actually silicone models, and the golden retriever was made of cotton, but Cheng Mobai was badly frightened. He threatened to destroy the dog model. I pretended to give in, but didn’t open the door. After leaving him hungry for three days, I returned. He took the opportunity to attack me, grabbed my gold jewelry, and ran away. I called the police and contacted my colleagues, handing over evidence that Cheng Mobai had broken into my home, secretly filmed intimate videos of women and posted them on foreign websites, and more. In the end, Cheng Mobai was sentenced for breaking and entering and numerous other crimes. His other victims also joined forces to sue him, and the whole farce ended with his reputation in ruins.
