Yu Yanzi was born into a prominent family. Her father is the Marquis of Weiyuan, her mother comes from Jiangnan’s richest merchant family, and she has an aunt who is the Empress Dowager to back her up. Never mind her brothers: those three alone could ensure she lives a life of comfort and carefree luxury.
Yet during the Lantern Festival, while she is enjoying the lantern fair, someone takes one look at her and chooses her. A carriage then carries her into the palace, where she becomes Lady Hua, the “consort forced upon the emperor by the Empress Dowager.”
Yu Yanzi: I thought I’d have to scheme and fight for survival, but before I knew it, I’d gone from Consort to Noble Consort, and then Empress.
Gong Gulan: There is a woman in my heart. She thinks we fell for each other at first sight during the Lantern Festival, but she doesn’t know that we were destined to be together.
Gulan, Gulan: I look back, and there she is, where the lantern lights fade.
From my own evaluation, the early pacing is a bit long and there is too much foreshadowing, which may make readers look a little boring and uninteresting. We are currently at chapter 65, and my favorite is chapter 63, because I think this is the best chapter I have written in my career as a novice author!!! Then the one that made me laugh was Chapter 64, which I consider to be a masterpiece. Hehe~˙ᗜ˙
I think it's pretty good-looking, and my aunt treats Zizi very well. I hope the male protagonist can see his heart clearly soon, and that the male and female protagonists can get together as soon as possible! I hope to see them sweetly 😢😢
Looking forward to future developments 😄
