[Parallel World + Powerful Families + Transmigration + Superpowers + Childhood Engagement + One-on-One Romance + Two Strong Leads]
Jin Shiyi, a ninth-rank dual-ability powerhouse in the apocalypse, was struck by a golden fireball that fell from the sky. She transmigrated to a parallel world and became a baby abandoned in front of a grave.
But she didn’t panic. Instead, she unilaterally declared herself the grave’s owner’s godchild.
The good news: Her one-sided godparent arrangement worked, and she was adopted. Her new family also had a mysterious inheritance, and since she had superpowers, it was a perfect fit.
The bad news: Her metal-type ability core, her “little golden egg,” was gone, and so was her ability to turn stone into gold. All that remained was a wood-type ability core covered in cracks...
Twenty years later, she fished a handsome young man out of a river and discovered that her missing “little golden egg” was inside him. And, as luck would have it, he was her childhood betrothed.
To get her “little golden egg” back and regain her ability to turn stone into gold, she accepted the engagement.
For Wen Yu, the first seventeen years of his life meant enduring cold treatment, mistreatment, neglect, and false accusations...
But everything changed after his fiancée, three years his senior, fished him out of the river.
As they spent more time together, Jin Shiyi grew increasingly fond of her sweet, well-behaved fiancé.
Little did she know, her fair and obedient fiancé was far from simple.
The story is pretty good, maybe because the data is not good, so I ended it early 🤦 I have read both of the author's books, the writing is good, and the story concept is interesting, but the data is not good, maybe it was delayed by the name and cover.
It's quite good-looking, and I had a feeling for it in the early stages, but later on I felt it wasn't so good-looking and was a bit boring. I hope there will be a big turnaround later on.
