In an ordinary high school in a small town in Yunnan, a group of teenagers who did not get good grades in the high school entrance examination spent their three years here. Some people are very motivated, some are very casual, sometimes they are cheerful, sometimes they are melancholy. They come from different families and have different visions, but they are all pushed forward by the college entrance examination. The cycle of life and study brings with it some rare activities - sports games, art festivals, football matches, 40-kilometer hikes, eight-province joint examinations, coming-of-age ceremonies, and the 100-day swearing-in ceremony. Small gestures in class, small notes passed during exams, skipping morning exercises, chatting and heart-to-heart conversations, the final math question that I can never solve, the English composition that I can never write, the key points of comprehensive essays that I can never finish... The love and hatred between classmates, teachers and students, and teachers took turns to be staged in that youth that was compressed to the extreme. Everyone has devoted three years to the "college entrance examination", even if they have not all obtained equivalent results in the college entrance examination.
