Ye Luoli: Alien Insect Shadows Meet Ink Wash

A new story is here! Welcome to read my work on Tomato Novel. I hope you enjoy it. Your support inspires me to write, and I'll do my best to tell every story well!

Mo Yun, a technology researcher from the insectoid world, transmigrates to the perilous fairyland of Ye Luoli after being sabotaged by his cousin and suffering a psychic outburst. Carrying a mysterious jade slip left behind by his parents, he stumbles into the Pure Water Lake, home of the Water Prince, Shui Qingli.

Their awkward first meeting is gently smoothed over. To repay Shui Qingli for taking him in, Mo Yun uses insectoid technology to build an energy stabilizer for Ice Princess Han Bingjing, whose power is fading. But the process triggers both her heat and a psychic crisis. Fortunately, Shui Qingli gives Mo Yun a temporary mark and protects him. The instinctive dependence brought on by the mark draws the two people from different worlds ever closer: from spending their days together in the Crystal Palace, to strolling and chatting through the fairyland's woods, to the flutter of their hearts when they accidentally touch each other's bonded wings. Their feelings quietly begin to blossom.
