In the future city "Xinhai City", Lin Mo, a top memory sculptor, uses a scalpel as a pen to erase painful memories for clients, allowing them to find peace in the sea of forgetfulness. However, a series of memory fragments that did not belong to him - the beach under the sun, intermittent piano music, the smile of a strange woman - began to invade his mind. These "ghost memories" haunted him like ghosts, forcing him to question the technology he was proud of and a past that was buried by his own hands. When he tried to salvage the truth, he discovered that everyone's memory is an isolated island, and the one under his feet was being quietly swallowed by the tide called "forgetfulness."
