The Last Cooking Smoke

When the “Gray Mist” devours the world and civilization crumbles into ruins, survival becomes the only rule. Lin Su, a chef in his previous life, struggles to survive in the desperate apocalypse until a mysterious metal lunchbox unlocks the “Foodie System” for him.

To others, the flesh of mutated beasts is deadly poison. In his hands, however, magical cooking transforms it into exquisite food that can enhance strength and heal injuries.

A serving of “Charcoal-Grilled Carrion Rat Leg” saves him from death; a plate of “Oil-Blasted Mantis Arms” helps him meet a cool and powerful companion; a pot of “Thunderclap Sashimi” gives him the means to take on formidable foes.

In this wasteland, where order has collapsed and humanity has been extinguished, Lin Su wields a chef’s knife as a weapon and a wok as a shield, building a “Gourmet Haven” that all survivors long to reach. He will use the warmth of home cooking to fight the apocalypse’s cold cruelty, and a bowl of hot soup to comfort everyone pressing onward through the darkness.

But as the shocking conspiracy behind the “Gray Mist” gradually comes to light, he discovers that his mission is about far more than simply filling people’s stomachs. This legend of survival and protection, food and hope, has only just begun.
