In the cyber city "New Arc City" shrouded in neon and rain, technology is the only truth and data is the supreme god. The former ace detective Ling Su is now just a private detective relying on high-tech prosthetic eyes to make a living in the dark corners of the city. He firmly believes that everything can be explained logically, until he takes over a bizarre disappearance case.
The completely enclosed room, the engineer who disappeared out of thin air, and the strange symbol on the wall that could not be scanned by any device dragged him into a vortex of cold data and ancient ghosts.
When all the technological means he relies on for survival fail, he is forced to cooperate with the mysterious "spiritual medium" girl Nighteye, who is regarded as an alien by society. One is a believer in logic, and the other is a messenger of intuition. Together, they will uncover the terrifying truth hidden under the shiny surface of the city - the super enterprise "Creation Technology" is trying to tear apart the curtain between reality and the "spiritual world" in order to satisfy its ambition to control everything.
