[Fake heiress with incredible fighting skills + irreverent, handsome military officer + setting the family straight + everyday family life] PS: There’s no rivalry between the real and fake heiresses over favor, and the male lead appears later.
Luo Ci failed to get into college, so with nothing better to do, she went back to her hometown to stand up for her third older sister.
Her biological grandmother and father, whom she hadn’t seen in eighteen years, saw how fair and beautiful their granddaughter was and once again thought of selling her.
Luo Ci knew that her three older sisters had often been tormented by their cruel relatives at home. As soon as she returned, she gave them a taste of their own medicine.
Liang Yifan and Zhou Yuecheng were comrades. When Zhou Yuecheng came home to recover from an injury, Liang Yifan went along to his hometown.
As soon as they reached Zhou Yuecheng’s home, someone came to complain. “Secretary, we can’t go on like this! Can’t you drive that she-devil away?”
The secretary merely said, “Even an honest official can’t settle family disputes. You’ll have to work out your own family matters yourselves.”
As a soldier, Liang Yifan considered serving the people his duty.
He wanted to see what kind of she-devil was lurking among the people.
The moment he saw Luo Ci, Liang Yifan’s arms and legs started moving out of sync.
The second time they met, Liang Yifan saw how skilled Luo Ci was and couldn’t help applauding.
Before he could see Luo Ci a third time, she returned to the city.
Liang Yifan: The sky is falling!
With Luo Ci gone, Liang Yifan had little reason to stay in the countryside.
A soldier who was also the head of a gang of street loafers, he went to visit his good friend Gu Yunshen (mainly because he had nowhere else to go).
One day, Liang Yifan and Gu Yunshen were coming home late when they saw some hooligans harassing a woman at the mouth of an alley. They were practically asking for death.
Before the two men could step in, the hooligans were kicked flying.
When they went closer to look, they found the woman he had been dreaming about day and night.
