Ning Bei is an orphan from a remote village in Northeast China. He grew up on the streets, but deep down he isn't a bad person: he has principles and knows how to stand by his brothers. After graduating from college, he refuses to accept a life delivering takeout and packages. With sheer guts, he finds his way into a large KTV, builds connections with all kinds of people, and uses his savvy and network to earn himself a place in the underworld. A few years later, he and his brothers start a business and step into an era of glory.
