He was also Tang Xuanzang’s newest disciple in Chang'an after the latter returned from obtaining the scriptures.
A political struggle and upheaval in the family
sent the brother and sister to the Kingdom of Feng in the East Victory Divine Continent.
Thus began a legendary journey,
and a path of cultivation and growth.
Born to face the tribulation, made stronger by it,
he would ultimately stand atop the three realms as a sage.
[Almost all the characters from Journey to the West will appear in this novel. I’ll also offer my own reasonable explanations for some of the original story’s hidden tales. The best parts are still to come, so please bear with me and keep reading. Thank you, everyone!]
