Zethu's Fifth Book

No sacrifice is too great to bear.

Sacrifice is the cornerstone of the Empire, and the lives of its soldiers are the Empire’s kindling.

Without sacrifice, there would be no Empire.

This is a story of growth.

This is a story about a commissar.

This is a story about the Astra Militarum.

These are the final traces left by the Empire’s cornerstone.

A Warhammer 40K novella, around 150,000 words. It began as a rejected plotline I had developed for another book, which I decided to write as a standalone story.

The entire novel will be written entirely in the style of Warhammer novels.
