The God of War’s Princess Consort Is Bold and Badass

Shen Lianyi, the Princess Consort of Prince Jing, appears to be the daughter of a powerful official and a pawn in a marriage alliance with the imperial family. In truth, she is an orphan carrying a blood feud. Three years ago, her mother, the gifted Lin Wanqing, was brutally killed by her father, Shen Moyuan, and the Crown Prince. Shen Lianyi endured her grief and married into the prince’s household, waiting for a chance to take revenge.

But when she follows the only clue her mother left behind, the word “tower,” her investigation reveals that she is caught up in more than a personal vendetta. It also leads to a palace scandal sealed away for years, one that threatens the foundations of the state: the mystery surrounding the wrongful death of Consort Duan, Murong Wan.

Meanwhile, the brutal death of Yun Jinghong, a performer in the capital, and the dogged investigation of Ling Su, an upright female official, are like stones thrown into a still lake, sending ripples far and wide.

This is a gripping story set in a vortex of political intrigue, love, and revenge, about faith, sacrifice, and redemption. Watch Shen Lianyi cut through the layers of mystery and break out of a deadly trap, seeking justice for herself, for her mother, and for all those whose names have yet to be cleared!
