The Strange Happenings in Northeast China Cemeteries

This is a supernatural novel that welds the flavor of the "immortal family" in the Northeast between the lines - when the reincarnation of the Ten Golden Crows collides with the thousand-year grudge between Hou Yi and the Chunhu family, the entanglement between immortals and mortals directly locks the fate of the Northeast Xuanmen, and the sense of fate in this opening is immediately full. 😘 The best thing about it is the "down-to-earth weirdness": the five inner families are "fox yellow and white willow ash" with the atmosphere of folklore, and their righteous and evil temperaments are much more lively than the facial expressions of fairies and monsters; the evil cruelty of the outer five families adds to the sense of horror, coupled with the intrusion of gods and demons from the underworld, the bizarre Xuanmen scenes seem to spread the mysterious things in the old forests of Northeast China before the readers' eyes. 👍 The growth path of the protagonist Ye Feng is wrapped in the mystery of his life experience, and every bizarre encounter is labeled as "the real story of the people around him." The sense of "it seems like I have really heard this" makes the roughness and mystery of the Northeastern supernatural just right. There is no need for suspended fairy tales, only local legends are used as the basis. Reading it is like squatting on the bed and listening to the elders telling weird things. It is refreshing and interesting. The idea is to understand the "local fantasy" clearly: anchoring the big framework with mythical destiny, filling the flesh and blood with the Northeast fairy family system, and using folk true stories as the texture. It can not only support the big picture of "fairies changing their lives", but also fall into the small details of "kangtou chattering and strange things". This is the top ingenuity to make local legends come alive 🤦

When the two words "Northeast" and "cemetery" are combined, a unique atmosphere that is rough, fresh, and piercingly cold comes to the face. Different from the graceful ghosts of the ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River or the gloomy splendor of the Western Gothic castles, the book "The Evil Things in the Northeast Cemetery" has deeply rooted the foundation of its horror aesthetics into the rich and desolate black land from the beginning. It is not so much a pure horror novel as it is a vivid record of folklore and folk customs wrapped in a ghost story shell. Its charm lies in the almost wild "realism" and the "empathy" that is deep in the blood. It's really well written, highly recommended [send heartfelt thanks]👍👍👍

The most amazing thing about this novel is the author's writing skills in firmly rooting the suspenseful tension and spiritual weirdness in the fireworks and customs of the Northeast. There is no exaggerated showmanship, but the chilly atmosphere can be outlined with minimalist pen and ink. In just a few words, the desolation of the cemetery and the mystery of the forest are vividly displayed on the page, as if the reader can really smell the cold smell of pine needles and soil. The author's writing has great "atmospheric shaping power". It can not only use the simple and straightforward Northeastern dialect texture to give the story a sense of regional intimacy, but also inadvertently switch to the description of fantasy scenes. The switching of strokes is natural and smooth, without any sense of fragmentation. The descriptions of fantasy elements never pile on curiosity, but the blank spaces and hints hidden in the details allow the chill to spread quietly along the gaps in the text, which not only retains the unknown tension of the suspense novel, but also makes the fantasy setting appear real and tangible. What's even more rare is the "beauty of restraint" in the text. Even when writing weird things, it always maintains a calm writing style. It does not pursue shock and excitement, but uses a dense narrative rhythm and precise image selection to keep a sense of suspense. This kind of writing style that combines regional texture, atmosphere creation and narrative restraint makes this fantasy suspense novel break away from the clichés of similar themes and become a textual feast worth savoring.

This book is too appealing to the children of the Northeast. It is similar to what I heard about when I was a child: "Huangpizi seeks a title". The five families in the book and the other five families in the book are written, and the atmosphere of respect and fear is exactly the same as the taste in the mouth of the old man. The protagonist Ye Feng doesn't pretend. He is really panicked when he encounters evil spirits, but he is also really able to handle things. His growth momentum is very real. The author says that his writing style is ordinary, but his "unpretentious" energy is good. He brings out the mysterious things buried in the countryside of Northeast China just like we usually chatter.

This folk tale novel tells the story of the protagonist Ye Feng's growth step by step in the confrontation between humans and immortals, good and evil~ The author's writing is good and his ideas are novel~ Don't read it at night if you are timid and afraid of ghosts...😄😄😄

The author uses delicate and precise brushstrokes to construct three-dimensional and full characters. They may be carrying the complexities and contradictions of human nature, or they may be carrying persistent beliefs and pure love, struggling, growing and persevering in the torrent of fate. Every character seems to come alive on the page, and their joys, sorrows, sorrows and joys tug at the readers' heartstrings, allowing us to see our own reflections in other people's stories and feel the warmth of resonance. Those seemingly plain plots actually hide mysteries, laying out tension in every detail and detonating emotions at turning points, making people unconsciously immersed in it and following the ups and downs of the story.

The narrative style is very unique, very much like that of ancient storytellers. The horror atmosphere could be a little stronger. The description of the interaction between each character is very interesting. You can keep following it and look forward to the follow-up.

The author is well aware of the power of "blank space" and "suggestion" in Eastern aesthetics, and infiltrates the essence of horror between the lines. The creaking wooden door of the old house late at night, the blurry black shadow flashing in the mirror, the obscure taboo legends spoken by the elders... These seemingly everyday details are endowed with eerie vitality under the author's calm and restrained writing style. The sense of atmosphere is inadvertently filled up, making readers unable to help but feel chills running down their spines while reading, but they feel like they are being pulled by an invisible force, exploring page after page. However, if this is just a horror novel that creates an atmosphere, it would not be enough to call it amazing. The real brilliance is that all these seemingly scattered and strange details are not idle strokes. The plot progresses layer by layer, like peeling off a cocoon. The characters in the book, whether they are the protagonist struggling in the whirlpool of fate or the seemingly marginal supporting characters, are all three-dimensional and full-bodied. With the complexity and contradiction of human nature, and with their own persistence, belief and pure love, they struggle, grow and persevere in the strange torrent. Their joys, sorrows, sorrows and joys are so real and vivid on the page, deeply touching the readers' heartstrings, making us feel frightened and moved by them at the same time. The author skillfully weaves suspenseful tension and emotional tension together with delicate and precise strokes. If you are looking for a work that will send shivers down your spine and make you think deeply, then this book is definitely not to be missed.

Very nice! This Northeastern native supernatural novel is so interesting! "Fox yellow, white willow ash" encounters the evil spirits of five foreign families, and all the ghosts and ghosts appear on the scene. The protagonist Ye Feng grows up through various obstacles, and his life experience is a mystery. The story originates from the folk, and it is both surprising and intimate to read. Highly recommended to readers who like to read suspenseful and supernatural novels!

"The mystery of the protagonist Ye Feng's life experience and subversion of his identity are so curious! Each bizarre encounter is also derived from a real folk story. This down-to-earth supernatural feeling will definitely be exciting and immersive to read! The author is so good at creating atmosphere! The black earth at 30 degrees below zero, the cries of mourning in the old forest, and the bloody house-holding charms, every detail is full of coldness and weirdness. "The combination of Northeast Fairy Family + Cemetery Evil is so right! The legend of fox yellow and white willow ash is inherently mysterious, and coupled with the eerie feeling of the cemetery, I got goosebumps all over the place while reading it and couldn't stop reading it! " This night was thrilling! Exciting!!!
