I Gaze into the Abyss, and the Gods Gaze Back

Xuanyuan Wujin is locked up in Qingshan No. 7 Psychiatric Hospital, and everyone thinks he is insane. He claims that “gods” exist in this world, that they feed on human fear and despair, and that he is the only “purifier.” To the doctors and nurses, he is merely a dangerous patient who waves his fists at empty air and babbles nonsense. But when inexplicable, eerie events begin to occur in the hospital, and the people around them one by one fall into madness and the shadow of death, they begin to wonder if this so-called madman might be the one who sees the truth about the world. As the boundary between reality and madness blurs, Xuanyuan Wujin must slay the gods lurking among humanity and protect this fragile world before he is “cured” for good as a madman.
