On Both Sides of the Blue Line

"Either I kill him, or I die first."

Ji Ming leaps into the swamp as gunfire grazes past him. This is the only understanding they've shared in five years.

Blood stains the blades; snow falls in silence.

In this life-or-death game, will the final move be an embrace as they sink into the Mekong River, or a blade at the heart and a single word: "Live"?
