In 1927, the first Central Supervisory Commission (the predecessor of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection) was established in Wuhan. In the turbulent current situation, discipline inspection pioneers Wang Hebo, Yang Paoan and others risked their lives to defend loyalty. The 5-episode short drama "Sword 1927" is directed by the Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervisory Committee, and is jointly produced by the Wuhan Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, Wuhan Jianghan District Committee, Wuhan Huangpi District Committee and Wuhan Radio and Television Station. The play is adapted from real history and focuses on the major historical event of the establishment of the first Central Supervisory Commission in 1927.
