Are antlers destined to be a symbol of glory?
The young stag Shuo once believed so without question, until one rainy season, when he lost his antlers, the symbol of his worth, protecting a fawn. His herd cast him out without mercy. As he licked his wounds alone in the snow and wind, an ancient legend stirred in his memory: In the north lay a moonlit valley, where worth was not measured by antlers.
His journey north was not a path to paradise, but a trek that stripped away the labels imposed on him. Along the way, he met Lan, an antlerless sage guided by the stars, and Scarface, a lone guardian living alongside a wolf pack. In this wilderness, each step shattered an old assumption: strength can take countless forms, and belonging need not come at the cost of losing yourself.
As his tracks intertwined with encounters along diverging paths and quiet ripples, he finally understood that the Moonlit Valley was not a geographical destination, but a state of being. There was no perfect system, no eternal protection. There was only a group of lives exploring more authentic possibilities: every life could choose its own way of being, rather than become a footnote in some grand narrative.
Meanwhile, the old world was mired in hardship because of its rigid hierarchy. Yet new seeds had already been quietly sown in the wake of Shuo's journey, Lan's foresight, and Scarface's protection, drawing more lost souls to gaze toward the direction illuminated by the moon.
This is not only an epic quest, but also a collision of three souls. When moonlight illuminates the valley, it never reveals a single answer, but rather every path that life walks for itself in pursuit of truth and freedom.
