While playing a game, Zhe accidentally fell through a spatial rift and transmigrated to Douluo Dalu with Hoshimi Miyabi, the fox-eared martial arts fanatic from New Eridu!
From the start, he stumbled upon Tang San hunting soul beasts, dealt with the lecherous Bule in passing, and accidentally brought down Shrek Academy. He even faced off against the Titled Douluo Tang Hao.
Luckily, Zhe could spot weaknesses, and Miss Ya's demon blade could cleave mountains and shatter stone, so they just about managed to keep things under control.
He'd hoped to spend his days strolling around Suotuo City with Miss Ya and watching dueling matches, then get forced by her to train his stamina at night (which she called "cultivation"). Every now and then, he could even have a chat with Ye Lingling.
But the Shrek Seven Devils kept coming around looking for trouble. Dai Mubai's White Tiger Martial Soul? Against Miss Ya, one slash would be enough!
Earning soul coins at the Great Soul Arena, improving ether conversion efficiency with thousand-year-old soul beasts... One problem after another.
But as long as Miss Ya's fox ears still swayed at the sight of sugar paintings, then even facing pursuit by Spirit Hall and obstacles on the path to godhood, he'd take her with him and carve out a different future on Douluo Dalu!
"Zhe, today's training goals: run ten laps around Suotuo City, then win three matches at the Soul Fighting Arena so we can buy a manor!"
"You got it! But, Miss Ya, can I have a bite of grilled meat first?"
For the first person, I will deduct one star for you. Of course this is my personal reason, because I don't really like it. You big man, you pretend to be cute and it makes me feel uncomfortable for a while, but it's not too much to break your heart. Since I wasn't happy watching it, you are not allowed to be happy either. I'll break your heart again. Bear it! Hoshimiya basically has no OOC, but Hoshimiya's little willful character is not well reflected. I won't comment on the other characters, which of course doesn't mean they're not well written.
